What does the additional warranty cover?

Care recommendations
To keep cushions springy and comfortable for a long time, they need proper care. At least once a month, they should be fluffed. It is also recommended to occasionally switch the positions of frequently and less frequently used cushions.
About two weeks after assembling the sofa or armchair, tighten the screws securing the legs. Then, check their condition regularly, several times a year.
Covers suitable for washing should be cleaned according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Do not iron, bleach, or machine wash them (unless specified as safe), and do not use harsh chemicals.
- Follow the care and cleaning instructions.
- Iron when slightly damp.
- Put the cover back on before it dries completely.
Warranty terms
The warranty is valid within the Republic of Poland. It does not exclude, limit, or suspend the buyer’s statutory rights under Polish law regarding defects in the sold goods.
Our sofas and armchairs are tested
At OPITSOFA, we test all sofas, armchairs, and corner units to ensure they are durable and long-lasting. Especially demanding tests are performed on items with long-term warranties. For example, we press a 120 kg weight on the seat 50,000 times and apply 30 kg of pressure to the backrest the same number of times. This ensures the frame remains stable and the cushions retain their resilience and comfort. Our warranty proves that our products withstand daily use for years.
What does OPITSOFA do under this warranty?
If a warranty claim is accepted, OPITSOFA will repair the product. We will cover the cost of repair, spare parts, travel, labor, and shipping. This does not apply to repairs or modifications done independently by the customer or by a third party without OPITSOFA's approval. Replaced parts or products become the property of OPITSOFA. The claimed product must be clean, and if installed, must be easily accessible. OPITSOFA may reject warranty claims for unhygienic (e.g., dirty or damp) items. Foam and upholstery are covered by a 24-month manufacturer’s warranty. The warranty includes home service and repair of damaged parts, so you don’t have to worry about transport or paperwork.
What is not covered by this warranty?
The warranty does not cover items improperly stored, misused, altered, or cleaned with unsuitable methods or agents. Always follow installation and care instructions. It does not cover normal wear and tear (e.g., abrasion), scratches, tears, cuts, or mechanical damage. The warranty does not apply if the product was stored outdoors or in a damp environment or used outside of a home setting. The warranty does not cover OUTLET department purchases or showroom items.
